Who Is Eligible?

Probus Women’s Housing Association of Victoria Inc. requires that prospective residents should be at least 60 years of age, not in paid work and are able to live independently. In order to apply for our women’s housing, it is also a requirement that the applicant  not own a property.

Financial Information

An entry contribution fee is payable to Probus Women’s Housing Association of Victoria Inc. which is set out in the Residents Agreement.

 

A weekly maintenance fee is also payable which covers property insurance, property and water rates, upkeep as well as ongoing improvements to the properties.

 

Please note that personal expenses such as contents insurance, gas, electricity and telephone are the responsibility of the resident.

Women’s Housing Maintenance

The Probus Court flats are managed by the Probus Committee of Management. All Committee Members are financial members of Business and Professional Women
of Australia and give their time voluntarily.

 

The Committee is responsible for general maintenance of the buildings and grounds. All work is carried out by qualified tradespeople under the supervision of our Property Manager.

 

Residents are responsible for the daily care of their own flats.
